Yesterday the whole world celebrated art in all its forms.
And we at fil-3, who live with yarns – literally! – certainly couldn’t stand by and watch. For the occasion we combined two great loves: yarn, which we work every day with care and creativity, and the bicycle, a symbol of freedom, energy and passion shared by all of us.
The result? A bicycle with wheels covered in crochet embroidery. A small gesture, a big hug to textile art, to fantasy, and to all those expressive forms that make life a little more beautiful (and colorful!).
Fil-3 follows cycling with passion, being the heir of the historic Filotex, the cycling team active in the ’60s and ’70s. A bond that continues today also through our yarns, which have covered the protagonist bicycle!
Art is everywhere. Just look. In the way a thread is woven, in the colors chosen for a fabric, in the noise of the wheels on the road, in the details of a hand-made embroidery. On this day we want to say THANK YOU to those who create, imagine, weave and reinvent every day. Art, for us, is movement. It is living matter. It is a journey on pedals, one stitch at a time.
