Fil-3 recently obtained the renewal of the RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certificate. This important achievement was made possible thanks to the expansion of the supply chain, representing a significant step towards increasing the use of sustainable wool.
The Responsible Wool Standard is an initiative aimed at increasing the well-being of sheep and preserving the land on which they graze. Its implementation requires a coordinated effort involving every stage of the production chain, from the wool farmer to the seller in the final business-to-business transaction.
One of the distinctive aspects of the RWS is its breadth of coverage, committing to certifying all sites involved in the process. This means wool farmers, processors and sellers must obtain certification to ensure high standards are met throughout the entire supply chain.
The RWS certification, therefore, is not only a symbol of wool quality, but also a certificate of our commitment to a more ethical and sustainable textile industry. Through the expansion of the supply chain, Fil-3 has demonstrated its willingness to adopt business practices that not only respond to market needs, but which actively contribute to a world where respect for animals and the environment are fundamental priorities.
