New certifications, new tools for traceability
Fil-3’s journey toward an increasingly transparent and certified supply chain has been bolstered by two important accreditations: OCS (Organic Content Standard) and RCS (Recycled Claim Standard).
These new certifications, obtained in August, complement the standards already in place at the company and reinforce our commitment to raw material traceability and transparency within the textile supply chain.
- OCS – Organic Content Standard
The Organic Content Standard certifies and tracks organic raw materials throughout the supply chain, from the raw material stage to the final product. Through third-party verification, it guarantees the presence and proper management of the declared organic content. - RCS – Recycled Claim Standard
The Recycled Claim Standard verifies and tracks recycled raw materials along the supply chain, ensuring that the declared recycled content is actually present and correctly tracked. The standard applies to products containing at least 5% recycled material.
Two certifications focused on traceability
OCS and RCS share a common element: both are based on the “chain of custody”—the ability to track and document the raw material’s journey through the various stages of the supply chain.
For Fil-3, these represent another step toward production that is increasingly traceable, verifiable, and responsible, providing our customers with concrete tools to validate their sourcing choices.
Certification is more than just an accolade; it is a guarantee of transparency throughout the supply chain.
